The next New Moon will occur on March 15, 2010.

Earlier in the blog posts we calculated our ‘Magic” number for ourselves using an association of numerical values to each letter of the alphabet. So philosophies call this your “Destiny” number, the one that gives insight on how your life will be and what your purpose is on Earth. Again, this number is obtained by using the alphabet-to-numerical value scale in the previous post, namely, The Magic of Your Name Pt.-1

Here is a list of what each number means in association to your name:

The Number 1: If this is your Magic or Destiny number, then this is the number of a Leader. You are a Self-Made person who will be a strong contender in bringing innovative things to reality. Much weight is borne onyour shoulders, as you are a maverick, but you are a shining example of Success.

The Number 2: If this is your Magic or Destiny number you will have an adventurous life filled with many “ups” and “downs”. You will obtain success only if you utilize all your talents consecutively and your friends, family, and allies will bolster you throughout this roller coaster ride called Life.

The Number 3: If this number is your Destiny or Magic number, your are a natural in business ventures and will be quite the savvy success story. The better things coming to you in your later years will be helpful in achieving your goals and ambitions.

The Number 4: If this is your Magic or Destiny number, you must choose your profession carefully as you have limited options for success. Is this a bad thing? – No – but you do not have the chance or opportunity to flip between varying degrees of career choices. You have the ability to be a whiz at real estate and you will be successful if you apply your persistent nature.

The Number 5: If this is your Destiny or Magic number, your biggest obstacle to what you want in Life may just be yourself! Trust in Yourself, be cautious with strange schemes and enjoy your varied life experiences that you will have, both the challenging and the pleasurable.

The Number 6: If this is your Magic or Destiny number, do not waste your talents and laze the days away. The Number 22: Id this is your Destiny number, you will be challenged by the forces of your Lower Self and the Higher Self being in conflict unless you suppress the Lower Self and its’ unfavorable outcomes. Be careful not to be drawn into schemes that are questionable and underhanded. Over come your fluctuating moods and be deliberate in all your business dealings.

Any number higher than 22 must have both digits added together to be able to reduce it to its’ most common or lowest form. Foe example, if your name adds up to 56, then add these tow together and you will get the number 11. Remember that the numbers 11 and 22, are specialty Magic or Destiny number and cannot be reduced further.

The number 7 correlates to the Yoruba Goddess Yemaya (aka as Yemoja/Iemanja) this year in the Lukumi tradition and I did some research on the power of the number 7.

The obvious ones are:

There are 7 seas: the Caspian Sea, the Red Sea, the Mediterranean Sea, the Black Sea, the Persian Gulf, the Adriatic Sea and the Indian Ocean.

There are 7 days of the Week. These days are named from deities that ruled that particular day.

There are seven layers of Heaven a soul can pass through.

It is considered a sacred number in Freemasonry.

There are 7 dwarfs: Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sneezy, Sleepy and Bashful.

The seven deadly sins: Sloth, Gluttony, Lust, Greed, Anger, Envy and Pride.

There is magic in your name! Whether you know it or not, there are magickal associations of numbers to the alphabet and when deciphered, your name has a combination that is linked to the magical vibrations of a number. This number can be used when deciding a career, lucky numbers in a game of chance or lotto, and for insight as to how life will be presented to you and the type of energy the number resonates.

This is the chart that is used to determine the number associated with each letter o the alphabet:

To calculate your “lucky” magickal number by using your name, here is an example of one I have done:

7+6+3+6+8+6+5+2+1+1 = 45 = 4 + 5 = 9

So you can see that Pocohontas’ name adds up to 45, and we always break the number down to its’ most simplest form, so we add the 4 and the 5 to get 9. Her magical number in accordance with her name is the number 9.

So, let’s do a real person’s name. I am going to choose Tommy Lee Jones, an actor who’s name sounds like it really is his given birth name. In the realm of Hollywood, there are so many who have ’stage names’ and at that point, it would be wise to use the name they are known by, unless another spelling of it would be more advantageous to use.

Now Tommy Lee Jones’ name is an exception the the reducing rule: when the lowest number is an 11 or 22, you must leave the number at that state and do not reduce any further. Eleven and twenty two resonate the energy of both even and odd numbers. How? Eleven in its’ basic form is an odd number, however, it is also vibrating the energy of the number two because 1 + 1 + 2.  The number 22 is vibrating both the energy of 22, which is double 11, plus 2 + 2 = 4. So the ancients have taught us to leave the numbers 11 and 22 alone and do not reduce them any further.

Sometimes when calculating with your nickname such as “Jackie”, Beth” or “Zack” may produce an  number that is ominous for you. In the case of “Zack”, maybe using Zac or his full name of Zachariah would produce a more auspicious number. At this point, he should drop using the ‘old name’ and begin using the more advantageous one, even when signing his name. This si the same for people who hyphenate their last name with their spouses’ or change their last name altogether. If it is more auspicious to keep your last name, then you should use it on all your legal holdings and by known as “Sally Jones”, not Sally Jones-Brown”.

As you remember, last month I was working with numbers of the dates of the year and began to see a pattern of the days, when added together, resulted in the sum of 7. Since in my belief system, the year 2010 is ruled by the Yoruba Goddess, Yemaya (aka Yemoja/Iemanja) and her ruling number is “7″, I am going to assume that maybe there is a correlation to this and declare these dates in February to be “Lucky 7″ power days and numbers. I hope you harness the power of the number “7″ for good things in your life.

It’s the beginning of the year and we all have those things we call resolutions and schemes to achieve ’something’ in 2010 and I am no stranger to them as well. Last night I returned to my Zumba class that I had dropped out of in October when I became bogged down with school, work, writing and well, life. I hurt this morning but know it is a ‘good hurt’.

With this new year and decade, I get a plethora of mail about how to use various methods of divination to ’strike it rich’ or have an especially ‘lucky day’. Mind you, you realy should be thinking that each and every day is a lucky day but I will leave that up to the individual.

So as I am sitting at my desk, I start to ‘wiggle and squiggle’ the numbers of the months around and I started to see a pattern. If you recall, I predicted correctly that this year would be ruled by the Yoruba Goddess Yemanya (aka “Yemoja” or in Brazil, “Iemanja”). Her number is the number “7″. Given that knowledge, I started playing with the dates on the calendar and lo-and-behold, I find a pattern of lucky “7″ days. I found that these are going to be occurring all this year, so I am passing on this knowledge so hat you can plan to make wise choices on these specific dates.

Special “Lucky 7’s” Days in January 2010:

January 3, 2010 – The sum of 01/03/2010 = 0+1+0+3+2+0+1+0 = 7

January 12, 2010 -The sum of 01/13/2010 = 0+1+1+2+2+0+1+0 =  7

January 21, 2010 – The sum of 01/21/2010 = 0+1+2+1+2+0+1+0 = 7

January 30, 2010 –  The sum of 01/30/2010 = 0+1+3+0+2+0+1+0 = 7
