Tarot by Jacqueline | “So I get this e-mail…” Pt. 2 – A Commentary

Dear Readers,

Here is the rest of the conversation regarding overpriced spiritual work and scam artists, which came in a couple of days later after posting the first conversation. To Read the first part of this conversation, please click here to go to “Tarot by Jacqueline | “So I get this e-mail…” Pt. 1 – A Commentary.

We pick it up from the last thread….

DK says:

Thank you Jacqueline, this is very helpful.

what do you mean by your first statement “there are still signs that she needs money…”?

Best,

dk

Well, it is because she is ‘negotiating’ on what she can see by body language what you can really afford. Like this: She says, “It is going to be $20,000.00 for this and that and this and that…”  Your face goes into shock. You say you can’t afford it.

She comes back and says, “OK, I understand. So we can swap out this for that and I can use cheaper materials.” (hint-hint)

She was going to go with the cheap stuff in the first place. I can either buy Epsom Salts at the Natural Foods Coop and pay the pricey price, or go to Walmart and get the same thing for $2.50 a box. Epsom Salts is Epsom salts – like of like tomato sauces – same thing, just you ‘believe’ it is better if you buy Del Monte or Contadina over Kroger brand, see? Or Peaches, canned corn, peas -whatever. I live in central California and I know where the caneries are and watch the same product be labeled by many different companies. No green bean bush is different than the other in a field – same beans.

Look, if a service is within one to two hundred dollars or so, given some candles being burned, a bath or cleansing, prayers and a reading or two, then I can say, “well, maybe it is justified.” If you are going to pay more than that, you better be an active participant in the situation, know what I mean. That way, you actually can see what is being done and what products are used.

Tarot by Jacqueline | “So I get this e-mail…” Pt. 1 – A Commentary

Dear Readers,

Here is a copy of a conversation I had via e-mail in regards to authentic psychics, readers and workers – and a few incidences that I shared to sport them.

Enjoy!

Incoming e-mail from D.K. -

HI there,

I recently had a card reading, and the reader told me that I need something to be done to clean out the negative energy that includes an altar to be set up at her church which would have 12 five foot candles, a huge crystal, and human form in the likeness of me.  She quoted me $20,000 for the service of cleaning out the negative energy over time, an that it could take 6 mos – 12 mos.  I told her this was way over the top in terms of budget.  Today she came back with $5,000 – $6,000 by utilizing less expensive materials.  In between she has given me simple candles, a crystal, a bath, and other recommendations that make sense, and I’m feeling very positive so far.  I just can’t assess whether I’m being scammed or not.

Can you give me your opinion?

thx

My out going answer -

HI,

WAAAYYY too much money!

Read about clearing negativity on my other site:

http://www.free-candle-spells.com

Go to right side in the categories side and look under Hoodoo Products.

Now, there is sometimes a couple hundred of dollars may be recommended, but I give you options and ways to approach the problem, then let you decide, depending on your income level.

You gotta eat, after all, right?

Jacqueline

D.K.’s second incoming e-mail -

how do you suggest I find someone that is credible in my area?

thanks for your feedback – I told the other woman no.

My second outgoing e-mail –

I have no idea where you are but there are still signs that she needs money from you.

Here is what I do.

First, I write a lot of my stuff on www.free-candle-spells.com

Could I not share it and be stingy and charge people up the ying-yang? Sure, but then I would be no better than gypsy-type scam artists (which this sounds like it is)

When I do a reading, I tell clients to take notes and I will tell them specifically what to buy and how much it costs. Why? Because I have a conscience I have to address every night before sleep. I am in this for helping – not getting rich. Besides I have another wonderful career that sustains me, but because of the Universal Law of exchange, I charge less than others and I am blessed.

Another clue, depends on where you find them but scammy artists people will probably not place their face out on the Internet. they don’t want to be found. I would also be aware of those who run psychic shops that have a little bit of everything. There are many in my town – they have Feng Shui, Wiccan, cheap Mexican spiritual products that look like watered down poster paint, etc. They can do palms, psychic, tarot, stand on their head – anything to get your money. Why? They have RENT to pay on the RETAIL LOCATION. They probably don’t have another job, and I would bet they have some sort of public assistance going on in the background.

I had a client once that came to me after going to one of these storefront places. He was hitting a bad luck streak and my reading told me so as well. The lady told him that the person that gave him his watch (apparently a nice one with diamonds) wanted to see him dead. He said how could it be; the gift was from his wife. She said she had to get rid of it in a ritual to save his life.

I asked him, “Did she take a hammer out and smash it right there in front of your eyes?” He said no, but she had to bury it on a mountain top in a ritual and had also to make a life size candle of him to burn off the bad luck. He left her the watch but it was unclear if he paid her.

I told him, “She ‘buried’ it at the pawn shop.” – ’nuff said!

One day, I dressed differently and went to this same ‘psychic shop’. She was having a $10.00 palm session. Before 5 minutes was up, she told me I was “surrounded by negativity” and that she could do a “cleansing” for only $75.00 since I came  in today and got the palm reading, or else it was $150.00 any other day.

(cue the sound of brakes screeching)

Real workers will charge you the same amount each and every time – none of this  ’get it today on special or pay full price tomorrow’ s**t, if you know what I mean.

From time to time, this woman will get people to call me and harass me, telling me that I am ‘not real’. I have more credibility than she does and the documents to boot. Unfortunately, she feels competition, has said so in phone conversation, and her mild threats do not bother me. God takes care of that for me.

So, I do not know where you are, but I gave you some insight and ‘signs’ to look for in a worker. I hope it helps.

Jacqueline

And with this post, I send it out to warn you of scam artists. there are real and authentic workers that have practiced for many years, but be careful and question – always!

Tarot by Jacqueline | Abundance and Lack as Spiritual Lessons – A Commentary

As I sit here on Cyber Monday night, thinking that while I have made headway on gifts for the grandchildren and having the feeling of being a bit ‘ahead of the game’ so to speak, I start to think about where I have come from to this point I am at now in my life.
The collective residents of the United States have just celebrated Thanksgiving, the dining ritual that has come to mark not only the remembrance of a group of people who crossed the Atlantic to search for a place to Believe without persecution, but in more modern times, the hallmark of the Christmas shopping season. This also reminds me that this too, is the Season of Lack.

All last week, as visions of roasted turkey and pies flashed across our television sets, countless competing advetisements bombarded our screens and e-mail addresses. They even snuck in a moment of glory in competetion with one another and that green bean casserole ad. Savvy shoppers scoped, planned and strategized their routes within the city, urged on by relatives and friends, on who was going to be where to get in line to be one of the first ones to get that one. No wonder the Winter Holidays have become so commericalized. Being caught up in this can be quite troubling for some, as many of our brothers and sisters have had monumental changes occur in their lives in the past few years. But experiencing Lack is not always a negative thing; it can spring forth new ideas for growth and movement. It is a human event that everyone should go through at least once in their lives.

This time of the year takes me back to quite a few years ago, when I was a not-so young mother raising her kids on her own. We had no cable and television reception was nil without it. We were friends with the video rental shop owner, who would let me slide when I brought movies back late. For a time, we were without a washer, a dryer and a car, all items needed when living in a semi-rural area of the country. But the loss of these things did not condemn us to dirty clothes and walking, rather it gave us imspiration to do things a “little bit different”. Washing and drying clothes became an event that amazed us as wet jeans would dry stiff hanging outside in 16 degree weather, but had to be hung over heater vents come evening and ironed in the morning to make sure they were dry.

I remember being invited over for holiday dinners after our spiritual worship, truly knowing that the comaraderie ad sharing of the feast prepared was the Spirit of the Season. On one bright but frigid December day, I received a knock at the door, only to find two angels dressed as realtors who ‘knew’ of me and had the back of two Bronco-type vehicles full of gifts and food. They never told me how they learned about my struggles, but I sat down that year and wrote the most heartfelt and tear stained letter of thanks that I ever created. I was comforted in the knowledge that this was my ‘reward’ for all my efforts of paying it forward. It was now my turn to Receive. That was the spiritual lesson I had to learn.

Experiencing the human condition of Lack did not make me give up. Rather, it spurred me to try harder, work smarter and be vigilant on all aspects of Life. It taught me to not be Judgemental and to be more Appreciative. It also taught my littlest one to conjure up a neighbor to drive down the road we were walking when we were returning from the store, carrying our provisions in six bags, two for each of us. We were 95% successful in each of our shopping expeditions in manifesting a friend with a car. I even scratched my head at the side job of cleaning a house in the toney part of town that was already so clean you could eat off the floors, yet a check magically appeared on the kitchen cooking island every two weeks for one days work of scrubbing the waterstains off glass shower doors. Somehow I knew it as Spirit watching over me and mine.

As the years have progressed since that time, I have been blessed with Abundance. I have everything I need and I am apreciative of it. As we get closer to the day when many in the world believe that one very special One was born, take a moment to learn to give and share in anothers human experience of Lack. This gesture can be as simple as buying coffee for that early morning traveler with his pack, or taking lunch from home and donating to the shelter who feeds those out of work. Be heartfelt in recognizing their plight, as easy as the roll of the dice or a simple twist of Fate, you may be There.

“You Can’t Always Get What You Want” – A Commentary

One evening this past week, I was sitting at the computer answering e-mails. The phone rang, and while I usually do not pick up the phone in the later hours of the evening, I did that night.

One the phone was a young woman who was inquiring about Intranquility Spells. I am assuming that she was considering purchasing one, and before I just conduct a sale, I try to get a “feel” for the reasoning behind such a request.

The woman was hesitant to explain herself, but revealed some of the details of the situation – bringing back a lost lover from six months ago – and with my probing, I wanted to get to the core of the reason for the Intranquility Spell. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Intranquil Spirit Candle Spell or Intranquility Spell, here is the basic scenario.

Imagine this situation. You and a love were together and happily making plans for a Future. Then, things go wrong and the lover leaves you – for another, for good – whatever. The Intranquil Spirit or Intranquility Candle Spell is for making the life of that One Who Has Done You Wrong miserable. The words of the spell go something like this:

“(Insert Name Hees), until you return to me and reclaim me as your love, you will not sleep peacefully, you will not enjoy food and nourishment, you will not have any peace. Until you right the wrong you have done, you will not have good luck, you will always be restless, wandering forever until you realize that I was the only and true love for you. Until you return to me, you will not be satisfied with any other lover, wandering from person to person, searching for love and yest not ever finding love like mine…etc.”

You can get the main idea of the spell and because the situation can vary from client to client, the words are inter changeable, making it more of a custom candle spell to return a lost love.

As the caller haltingly revealed the story with my questions, she was the one who played a trick on the fella, breaking up with one and dating another person aright under the lovers nose, for reasons unknown, but I suspect to make the lover commit to a more permanent relationship like marriage. In the mix was the caller’s mother, who wanted the caller to date a rich guy. I told the caller that her mother is waiting for grand babies and she wanted to marry her off.

The caller started crying and saying that all her friends get “what they want” and she couldn’t understand why she couldn’t get the same. I asked her why she broke up with the first guy (her lover) in the first place. Her answer; she had “expectations”. She then began to complain that she wanted to ask about the Intranquil Spirit spell and did not expect so many question. I told her that I could be cold and just sell her the kit, but I have a conscience that I have to justify at night before I go to bed and that it isn’t all about “the sale”. I told her that the Intranquility Candle Spell is not the best choice, since she was the one who initiated the break up, not him. I told her to call him up, ask that she meet him or spend some time on the telephone and tell him that she was sorry for doing what she did. I told her to ask for Forgiveness from him and that she had learned a valuable lesson about Worth and Treasure. This is not anything magical; it is a human experience. The caller said she could not do so, apologized for calling me, and said goodbye. I told her again, is isn’t about the sale with me, as I could sell her a candle kit for her love problems but it was that it was the ‘right’ spell kit to fit the situation. This time, her idea of an Intranquility Candle Spell on the guy would not have worked as she was the perpetrator of the “crime”.

“You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need”. Thank you Glimmer Twins.
